Update

AT THE TRACK....

Beacon Beach-  will be  back in training with Doug Nunn at Monmouth Park for 2010 after he takes the winter off to rest and recuperate. He had a very good year in 2009 in which he earned over $84,000.

We believe it is going to be a very exciting 4 year old season for Beacon as we plan to run him on the turf starting with the Atlantic City meet in April.

Dropkick Murphy-The very personable seven-year-old gelding is now privately owned by two HHRS partners after having claimed him back at Philly Park last year. He too is currently being pointed toward the turf at the Atlantic City meet.  His current earnings exceed $156,000 and he is looking to build on that in 2010.

Spicy McHaggis- After losing Spicy in a claiming race at the end of last year, she was recently claimed back by two terrific Headless Horsemen Partners. This big girl, out of Dare to Cope, is currently relaxing at Bright View Farm.

The Next Generation

HHRS have shipped our two yearlings, Beach Badge by Medalist and the filly by Artie Schiller, to Delaware for three months. This will allow us to take advantage of both the Jersey bred and Delaware Certified programs when these future stars are able to race.

Kismet had a colt by Defrere who is registered as PA Bred in addition to being NJ certified bred. Blumin Exuberant is in foal to Smoke Glacken and is due in April. We are very excited about our future crop and for those interested in the breeding game, please feel free to contact us and be a part of a unique and rewarding breeding partnership.

HHRS retiree HMS Jackson is at a farm in Upperville Virginia where he is enjoying the good life and being spoiled rotten by all the kids in the area.
